Agricultural company AgriFORCE uses natural gas to power 120 cryptocurrency miners
Canadian agricultural company AgriFORCE Growing Systems Ltd. has launched a plan to power 120 Bitcoin mining machines using stranded natural gas, with the company stating plans to further expand the project. The project is located in the city of Beaverlodge in Alberta province, and was launched in partnership with energy supplier BlueFlare Energy. AgriFORCE stated on Tuesday that the site, powered by 425 kilowatts (kW) of electricity, can achieve a computing capacity of 32 petahashes per second (PH/s).
